Dentures (prosthesis)

dentures (prosthesis)

The dentures we use are most often made of laminated, reinforced plastic.

It is made in case the patient is toothless. Compared to past decades, today we place much more emphasis on the uniqueness of prosthetics. Your dentures will fully adapt to the movement and shape of the anatomical structures in your mouth. We also take into account other important anatomical factors (eg head shape) in order to make the dentures that best harmonize with your face! The dentures we use are most commonly made of layered, reinforced plastic materials. These properties strengthen the resistance to wear, improve the excellent physical properties, and they are also shiny like natural teeth. Porcelain teeth can also be used, but due to their significant weight, they are not recommended.

Partial denture:

There are still teeth in the jawbone, which can be used to anchor partial removable dentures.

Combined dentures:

Combined dentures consist of three large units: The fixed part, the removable part and the anchoring device.

-The term “fix” refers to porcelain veneered metal-ceramic bridges and crowns that encompass the remaining teeth, ensuring the protection of the remaining dentition.

-The removable part consists of two parts, the metal plate and the gum part, which contains the artificial teeth. We recommend removing this removable part after meals and cleaning it with appropriate tools.

-Anchoring device the connecting part that provides the link between the fixed part, i.e. the bridge or crown, and the removable part. This connection can be made by a dental technician or factory-made clasps or so-called hidden devices. In addition to providing an excellent aesthetic effect, also provide a stable fixation to the existing dentition.
